honour returning to 100% faster than before

I previously noticed honour rising at a rate of 1 per hour but my last attack was sent when a player had an honour rating of 84. It was a 6 hr march so figured I'd reach him at 90% but I am currently just over 1 hour out from him and he is already up to 95%. All the others in his clan also lost honour, but he was the lowest. They, however, are rising at the 1 per hour rate that I had seen before. They started at 92 and are all now at 97.

Why would one player gain his honour back more quickly?

Edit:   by the time my attack hit, he was back up to 98 along with the rest of the clan. This is on stable 2 server
