for what it's worth, i welcome new changes all the time.
i am glad to see changes happening, but of course, change for the sake of change is useless, we need *good* changes. changes that fix imbalances.
reading this thread, it comforts me to read that the new stats were tested and tested and tested as demonic said.
as experience in this game have taught, numbers on paper (or screens) are quite useless without actual battles and simulations.
what i would like to see, are these *extensive* tests demonic is talking about. post them somewhere public in the forum for everyone to read, and so the great minds in the player base and can go through them, and be convinced that the numbers are indeed good.
i say a new thread, since i dont want to clutter this one with battle reports. if the numbers are really tested, one would expect some 20+ battle reports that include gual, mixed with a variety of troops, and attacking a variety of enemies.
you said you did lots of tests, share with us.

Browse the forum a little more often and you will find plenty of them....
Anyways, it's good to read that players or ex players are enthousiastic, i'm sure some of you will help us test the units in the very near future!!

Your village is 38100% bigger than the defending village. You will probably lose 90 honour by attacking this village. If someone of your clan attacked this village earlier, every clan member will lose honour.

nah, there's more, but data is cluttered due to a bug in the reports.
Useless posting them now, thijs will look into it asap.
Join beta, check the results yourself...

Your village is 38100% bigger than the defending village. You will probably lose 90 honour by attacking this village. If someone of your clan attacked this village earlier, every clan member will lose honour.

I'm a big proponent for better Human / Elf balance, and Though I havent played testing, on paper it looks like a step in the right direction.

One quick thing to point out though, is that currently I believe consumptions are the same on both stable and speed servers.  With this drastic increase in food consumption, I think some consideration should be given that production on Stable server is roughly 1/3 that of speed, and therefore, consumption should be the same.

I hav mentionned this many times before. The speed of guals will NOT matter if they are weak and the defending force has archers and infantry to defend. You said yourself that no decent army will be gual only so why would we attack gual only? To take advantage of their speed but still lose because they are weak vs. a balanced army which a defending army will probably have since they are at home. AND then pay more insane prices to re-train them.
So to put that in simpler terms - No wants their army to move faster to their death...

Obviously people are going to complain the most about gual, because that's what they have the most of.

With the new numbers, gual are obsolete. Wolf riders will have stronger defense in every category, they will hit harder, eat less, and are faster. Gual only have 25 higher health, but who cares? smile

i'm human this time around so i'm happy!



p.s. 20,000 GEMS for the first sling upgrade? seriously??
