Here's my idea for the new unit strengths.

Archers:
-Improved melee battle skills
-Improved Ranged Attack
-Improved health

Witches:
-Added Ranged attack
-Improved Melee defense
-Improved Cav. defense

Knights:
-Improved melee battle skills
-Lowered Food consumption
-Improved cav. defense

Gual:
-Lowered Range attack defense
-Lowered health
-Lowered melee skills

Longswordsmen:
-Improved health
-Improved melee battle skills
-Lowered food consumption

Executioners:
-LOwered cav. defense
-Lowered infantry defense
-Lowered health

Spearmen:
-

Dark Warriors:
-Lowered melee  battle skills



To improve the balance between human and elf troops i also suggest all human weapons and armour become human only so they can not be used by elves and the cost are half that of the elf weapons.
(slings are slings but there is a difference in price and the human slings can not be used by elfs)

knights at 50% cavalry defense would be nice!
don't think the elf witches should have same cavalry defense as knights  smile

The excel export is a bit messed up, check data by selecting... some images might overlap the date.
For instance, gual cav. have 180 damage done, not just 80.
I think the witches can have some big defense, they are mighty expensive, that means they won't be used in the beginning...

By human weapons you mean spears(and their counterparts) and heavy armor such as fullplate right? because i never understood why elves would wear heavy armor.

No, i mean any weapon that is craft by a human smith.
Since humans have more units it's more expensive to upgrade them with armour and weapons.
In order to avoid inbalance again this would need to be lowered in price and set to be used by humans only cause otherwise human smiths would be crafting equipment for elves at lower price.

I just wanted to add I think training costs to get knights and longswords are horrendous if humans are to have double the troop count. Right now Knights are more expensive to train that gu'al.

I'm willing to give these stats a try on testing and port them to stable 2 if they are approved. Any feedback is also welcome of course smile I'll also talk to Vilmore (if I can reach him) to take a look at them.

i dont think equipment difference is a good idea it will hurt humans in a mostly elf clan and vise versa but i like the rest of your proposed changes

But clans won't look as much for who is the strongest out of the group but try to find balance between human and elves in the clan.

Yes, your both right.
but as it is it's the lesser of two evils.
Apart from that, when every player crafts his own weapons there is more balance in the game.
A player with a normal village and 2 smiths will have the same amount of power as a village who spent the runes used on the smiths (and extra iron income) on units (up to a certain point, in the beginning the player who used runes on troops has the upperhand and later in the game th eplayer who spent runes on armour and weapons does)

Gual now have 80 battle skills and should have 180 battle skills!
(likely to do with the excell to html conversion, the original excell sheet does show 180, in html export the 1 os covered by the image)
