Re: New rules on international II

Some good news:

Since the new rules are in effect it's impossible for a cheater who controls multiple villages to push himself up the ranking.
We haven't seen the effects that occured on speed 1 and 2 on the new server.
Anyways, this might (discussing it as helli pointed out) lead to mods having a more flexible attitude towards players playing from the same ip.

Pushing will probably still be an unwanted action but fair trade is something we could live with.
Anyways, you can have some good hopes in the future!

Your village is 38100% bigger than the defending village. You will probably lose 90 honour by attacking this village. If someone of your clan attacked this village earlier, every clan member will lose honour.

Uhm, speed 1 was virtually perfect without any cheating that the mods could detect using the tools in which they had.

You won that server.

Did you cheat to get there? wink

Re: New rules on international II

Ish - I watched a LOT of cheating on S-1 ... it was spectacular really.  And there were some pretty serious resets too

7 x 13 = 28

Re: New rules on international II

Speed 1 was far from perfect, i'm not blaming the mods or anything but i do remember a certain person and some of his friends (or alter ego's)
Can you spell patron?

Apart from that, ever since the start of speed 1 there was a huge inbalance between players, there were big ones and there were very small ones. Nothing in the middle... as soon as someone got in the middle they got farmed.

I'm hoping we won't get that scenario on the new server, hence the new rules.
(agreed, the rules aren't perfect but it's all we've got now)

On another note:
Did did get pushed by some players just to hammer some other player down.
That caused me to grow big/huge and created more inbalance, it's not cheating, but to avoid these scenario's there's some new rules.

-Edited to add:

-reset troops active in villages
-vmode troops active in villages
-Sending runes up and down a couple of players to avoid them getting in hands of the enemy
- And so on.. i was no mod, never knew of all the cheats and abuse that occured but i did see a lot of it.

Re: New rules on international II

Speed 2 is sh*t too, i'm getting reseted because i use the same strategy that you demonic and waltang used against me and indiana.

I think that mods and admin may not play the game because they using there power of moderating and admin for themselves wink

Re: New rules on international II

The mods would have told you that there was a change in what was considered bug-abuse and what was not.
In the beginning some things were abuse but the mods didn't do anything about it since it was up to the developer. Since stable II started with a different set of rules some of those rules also made it to speed.
Hence it's forbidden to manufacture runes, keep a village in runeprotection and some more.
You should be aware of this, and i'm sure that the mods on speed II have been given warnings before resetting! (lot's of warnings!!)

Re: New rules on international II

Hidalgo once told me that i may not attack him if i'm in runeprotection. But when TSR and waltang were doing multie attacks on indiana i used your strategy demonic wink and some time later when i want to log in i find myself reseted .. big_smile It was sh*t but i'm not going to start over again and to get then reseted for something that other don't get reseted.

I hope that mods of Int II do better job then the mods of speed.

groetjes hidalgo

Re: New rules on international II

Hidalgo,

We have still not had a chance to get together, but there is really nothing new about how to operate on the same IP, for two family members.  It has been like this for a very long time.
Between two family members, there can not be any rune or resource transfers, and you cannot coordinate attacks.  But like Hellikin mentioned earlier, we are going to chat, and maybe it is time to re-visit this old rule.  However, should we decide that easing this a bit, it would also make it more interesting for a lot of players to "get married", if you know what I mean.

Thank you for bringing it up Hidalgo, and may you and your wife have a wonderful holiday season.

Re: New rules on international II

Can i help a mate out with resource to replace men that have been lost supporting me? its techically trading, im trading resources for support and those resources will be used to retrain and recraft equipment..it only seems fair.

Re: New rules on international II

If someone supports you and loses units you are allowed to send him resources to replace the lost troops, just make sure you notify a mod.
Just a short message explaining what's going on will do in most cases, if not we'll ask more questions....
(possibly we need to know your shoesize, favorite kind of food and so on, -edit: deleted some unwanted txt-!)
