Onderwerp: My opinion on Test, Stable and Speed Servers
1. Reset the Test Server I believe its time to reset the server. Add all new features for everyone to try out and have an opinion on it. Work out the kinks and bugs on it. Developers put a topic for each new feature added and ask for opinions specific to that and delete the people who get off topic. This should be the only server to test out new things.
2. Merge Stable and Speed I think having two servers for a game that's still trying to learn to walk is doing more damage then good for the fan base. Here is what I propose. Make Stable 1 1/2 times faster than it is now. This way its a bit faster but not too fast that players must be online every 6 hours wondering if their village was burned to the ground. I do understand the attempt to make diehards very happy but lets face it. The diehards were the ones who mostly played stable as well. There used to be great things going on Stable. A few incidents towards the end didnt help it along at all but I think the introduction of Speed killed both Stable and Speed. So I would implore the Developers to look at tweeking the Stable Server and getting rid or holding onto the speed server for the future use. I think the increase of Stable by 1 1/2 times its current speed would be a good nexus to the Speed Server players and keep most people happy and involved.
3. Clans Drop the maximum players per clan, keep it cozy. Yes I am aware that you still can keep together as separate groups and plan things by email, etc but I would hope this shrinking will help others to keep it a game and not try to make anymore super groups and try to make it fun and not personal. Yeah I know what most are thinking but I can hope
4. Moderators Make it more diverse. I'm sorry but a majority of the moderators are all tied into the old TSR. I'm not saying bad things. I'm just saying what it looks like to others that play. Personally I don't give a crap anymore but I can tell you what the rumblings are. ALSO I think the attitude that has occurred at different times from Moderators has not been professional. I will not get into specifics here but I think a Moderator needs to be held up to a higher standard when answering questions and not to be so brash. Joking around is fine in my book. But mean spirited comments are not. I believe that all actions taken by a Moderator should be explained to the affected party. Even better, I think all action against people should be posted on the Global Forum with an explanation of a suspension or whatever. This way others can see what not to do and can see that all action taken by a Moderator has been dealt with an even hand compared to past issues.
These are my opinions. I do hope the Developers read this and follow my recommendations.
