This is weird.  I am not sure how to explain it correctly...I have armour, I lent some said armour to a clanmate, he later returned what was left to me.

Upon going to redress my troops, I noted the window said they were already dressed. They couldn't be. I just got the armour back...I did a few clicks here and there. Same thing.

To make a long story short, my available armour to use is 3x what it should be *IF* my troops are dressed. I am not showing extra...I am showing what it says I would have if my guys were naked. But they are not, they are showing dressed.

You are welcome to go into my account (Daed) and have a look. It's quite odd.

ETA: I sent an ingame pm with a copy of what my equipment says while my guys are fully dressed.

I am just asking why gual's attack values went down, yet their cost to train/maintain went up. There is no need to get nasty.

Gual will be more expensive and more powerfull.
But the speed comes at a price as well.

I fail to see the rationale of having such a medicocre unit have such an insane cost.

...but that is what I am saying, their worth and overall attack values went way DOWN, yet their costs to train/maintain went way UP. This does not make sense.

ETA: so why would anyone use them? Just their speed? Even if the speed is 50, they're still useless since their attack is too low.  And when mixed with other units, their speed doesn't count anymore, so again... why bother to train them? You basically cancelled out this unit.

I voted no, but only temporarily, to give folks a chance to up their food before their troops die a slow, painful death from starvation.

Yeah but the test server is still in test mode with different stats, is it not? These should be speed stats for battles still.

ETA: I am not dismissing the current battle system is not extremely flawed, but I honestly do not see how this is a luck factor thing in *this* case....

also, I think luck is a factor when both sides are fairly equal in numbers, not always in small troop counts.

It is my understanding the "luck factor" is only when troop counts are close. This is clearly not the case here.

I agree with jerico. Gual take 1hr 30, FullPlate is 1hr 40min each...not to mention the cr*pload of iron needed. It is NOT cost effective to lose troops in a battle system that is broken right now.

How about the gems fixed, so you can actually *use* some of the spells needed to attack, without having to wait 3.5 weeks to accumulate...

Yes, that was an exaggeration, but you get my point.
