hmmm... definitely not available here... our mountain dew comes in glass.
Glass? Are you serious?
drink bottled in glass = superior form of enjoying a icy cold beverage

Absolutely
Yea but I've never seen a drink in glass that wasn't alcoholic.
I want that now...
1) like the sauce topic, this should be placed in the pub according to me
2) never seen any non-alcoholic in glass? we have almost everything in glass (also in plastic and in cans, but more glass because it is also better for the environment), water, soda, beer, milk...

yup, i think it's a european thing. and here, we import most of our stuff from europe. even american products, they get packed in europe according to their standards, then shipped to here.
so most things come in glass here as well, secondly is cans, but not for everything. plastic is almost non-existent, except for natural water.

I can get Sobe in a glass bottle I think. And maybe some old school soda. But that's it.
I just tried white out. It's a grapefruit flavor. Some people say it tastes like fresca but sweeter. I've never tasted fresca but I think white is pretty good too. Between typhoon and white out, I'm not sure which is better to be honest.

OMG Forum police!!
Daed if you are offended by my sauce topic being in the 'wrong' area, please move it. Before I get put up before the firing squad

The better grocery stores usually have glass bottled cokes, orange crush, nehi and 1-2 of the local soft drinks in stock. Oddly enough, our local hardware store sells them by the case - go figure.
I'm not sure if it's still true, but glass bottled cokes were produced with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. More bubbles, sharper tang, better taste in general.

They made a Mountain Dew throwback a few months ago, I thought it was gross, it was kinda sour. Not as bubbly either.
it's the opposite here. tin cans usually contains the most acidic and bubbly pepsi/coca cola drinks. glass comes second, which is still tasty, but comes in 330 ml and 1L bottles only. glass is reuseable, all stores sell the 330 ml glass bottle for 50 cents , if the customer returns the glass, he gets back 16 cents (approximate conversions to US currency). same for the 1L ones, sold for 1 USD, and gets back 33 cents if returned. the drinks company then takes all empty bottles from stores (for discounts to the store owner) and process them to be filled again.
plastic bottles have the least carbon gas in them, these come in 1.25 Ltr and 2.25 Ltr family sizes, and get thrown in garbage when empty. Pepsi tried making a re-useable plastic bottle sometime in late ninties, but it didn't go too well, and the project was aborted.
everything else is cans and glass, but none of the other companies re-use the glass, which is really sad, the local beer company could save hundreds of thousands yearly if it re-uses its glass since it's the most selling beer in the country (Almaza), the rest are european and american, so saving the glass is useless. notably, glass bottles are always more expensive than tin cans, but it's always the preferred medium by most, first for health reasons, second enjoyability, and third for a green environment guided by the many 3rd party recycling groups collecting the glass.
working over night, i have come to be a mountain dew fanatic! wham, is that bottled dew real sugar or the fructose corn syrup?
in my humble opinion, the can is the best because the cold metal keeps the soda colder longer.
that pink/orange new dew is my favorite out of the 3. sort of like a watermelon

Oh I know what you mean, the canned stuff has a much better taste. I think it's the shape of the cans that does it though, like with the fancy beer mugs.
Have you tried the other flavors? Whiteout is pretty good, but I think I might vote for typhoon.
mt dew used to have a dark that i liked a lot. pitch black i think it was called. if i was going to vote, i'd say typhoon, white out, distortion in that order.
the throwbacks with the real sugar were weird. i liked the throwback pepsi, but not the throwback dew. lol

They usually sell pitch black during the summer near my house, so there's that to look forward too
I work overnights and hate even the smell of coffee, so me and the people i work with drink a ton of mountain dew!
I'm addicted to it. If I don't get at least one serving of mountain dew every day I get a horrible headache.
nothing is worse than a caffeine headache! when you can feel your pulse pound in your head, that sucks!!!!
I have one right now actually. I'm going to die...
I just tried distortion, it's f*cking gross. I don't even want anything to drink right now...
